The World

  The world is all the things that sorround us. We are part of a big world compare to us tiny humans. The world is our home the place we live therefore we have to protect it. Now day people don't care about their world they are destroying it slowly. People think only about the present and they forget the danger they are doing to the world, unconsciously they are building a world fill with chaos for their future generations.
  


  People built their own world according to their actions. The world reacts depending on how you treat it. If we humans keep endangering the world soon there will not be a place called home. In my opinion people will never change their way of treating the world until something really disastrous happens. Only God knows what will happen to our home, he is the one in charge of everything and I have faith that he will guide us out of our own destruction.

Education

 
  This week I’m going to talk about education. Education is needed in humanity. People now day don’t give much priority to it. Everyone deserves a good education so they can be successful in life. Not everybody appreciates a good education and they waste their time in school.
    
  A person is mainly form by the education he receives through his life. Everybody receives education since kids. The purpose of education is to challenge a person so they can know their own limits and overcome them. Through education a person can determine the path he wants to follow so in the future they can decide what they want to become. In my opinion education and God are the two primary things that a person needs to have a successful life.

Movies

  The movie I have chosen is called The Ultimate Gift. I pick this movie because is my favorite one of all I had seen. I saw this movie when I was 14 years old and since then I still remember each part of it. This movie is filled with action, dead, sadness, etc. The thing I like the most about this movie is the message that it brings to the viewer. This movie was written by Jim Stovall.
  In this movie the filmmaker explores the relationship between wealth and happiness. The Ultimate Gift is about a privileged young man who receives a most unexpected inheritance by his grandfather. But what the protagonist doesn’t know is that his grandfather instead of giving him the cash he was expecting immediately, he leaves him 12 gifts or tasks that he has to overcome first so then he can receive his inheritance. His grandfather did this to his grandson because he wanted his grandson to change his arrogant manner. Finally in these 12 tasks that he overcomes the young man changes his manner from an arrogant person to a responsible young man and in the process he met some persons that mark his life in a special way.

Celebrity

  A celebrity is a person that is known by a lot of persons. The celebrity that I have chosen is Bill Gates. I chose Bill gates not because he has a lot of money  is because he earned every single dollar with his hard work. Bill Gates studied in Harvard University but he drop of it because he had a little idea. That little idea  was  the company now known as Microsoft.

  Bill Gates is well-known for being a humble person. He also has foundations to help people in need so they can study and get the helps that they need to overcome there poor conditions. Other thing is that he said that when he dies a big part of his money is going to be donated to different foundations and the other small part is going to his family. A person who thinks for the good of mankind that’s the kind of person that is Bill gates. In my opinion his is a role model for everyone in the world. 

Media

   They are different ways that people are provided with the media like for example: TV, magazines, newspapers, cell phones, etc. The proper use of it is to communicate or inform people of what is happening in the world. People have change through the years there way of living because of this thing called media. We humans have changed the media from an informative perspective to a social tool. Not all that is seen on the media is true sometimes the things are manipulated to the benefits of powerful sources that don’t want people to know the truth.
Some persons are getting addicted to the media and they are taking it too far. Now day people are losing the things that define us as humans that are communicating, getting together, etc. The media has changed its true purpose and now is becoming like a virus that has no cure. This virus spreads fast and we don’t have the power to stop it. In my opinion people would never learn how to put a stop to their addiction to the social media and through the years this will get worst.

Marriage

  
  Marriage is when two people who love and respect each choose to start a family and stay together until they die. There are different ways to get married like for example in church or by the civil way. When people usually get married they invite their close friends and family but not everybody does it that way. Currently a lot of marriages that end badly most are due because there is infidelity, economic interest, abuse, mistrust, etc. The decision should be taken on time marriage shouldn't be rush.
  
  In my opinion marriage is a very serious issue. Marriage for me is that moment in your relationship when there is total trust with your partner and both are ready to unite their lives forever. Not everyone loves their couple forever. But the moment you stop loving, is the moment when they must get apart. All marriages must be conceived before God and under his presence ever.

Religion

  From an early age I went to church with my parents. I believe in God and the catholic religion. I believe in God because I have faith in him and no matter if I haven’t seen him or feel his presence yet, but in my mind I am sure he is real and will always be. For me religion is to have something to believe that certainty that there is someone else a powerful force among us humans. Religion consists of a group of people who share a common faith. In religion we can find spiritual peace.

  Not all religions are equal they have different beliefs. The religion collects ancestral traditions or cultures. Humans have made ​​use of religion to find meaning to their lives and also explain the things that are happening in the world. However some persons think that religion is a way to avoid going to hell. If there is something that I am sure of is that God will always be there for those in need regardless of whether they believe in him or not.

War

  The war is created by capitalist politicians who want to increase their power. People with power seek to impoverish ordinary working people of a nation. We are constantly used to support one side. The enormous cost of a war is human, economic, social, etc. Many innocent people have died serving their country; there has been more blood than power won through the years.
   War is a wrong way to solve the problems. Because all people can and should discuss their differences, and so the death of innocent people would be avoid. Peace is a virtue that is often lost over time due to the various conflicts of the people. In every sense the war never brings benefits to anyone, because in war there is no winner they both lose equally .In my opinion the war will never end because humans never learn to accept their mistakes and differences to others. All human beings are equal before God and what happens to one affects the other.

 

Death

   I am not in favor of the death penalty. Giving a death sentence to a man for me is having the same behavior of the murderer or the person who did serious harm to another. A person doesn’t have the right to judge another person to death. Why they send people to rest? Who are we to end the life of another person? The law can also be wrong and judge an innocent. To end another person’s life, they have to be very strong minded and cruel.
  After death there is nothing more, it ends there. I think this method is used to get rid of some individuals who people do not want to see free in the streets. The idea itself is inhumane. Life imprisonment would be better as a punishment. No matter how cruel the crime has been committed there are other ways to judge a person. The only one who has the right to take the life of someone is God.

Happiness

  Usually my life has been really happy. I love to look for those that are beside me so they can feel the same way as me, but of course that's a personal decision. How I feel has to do with what things I do in my life and what I find that I have done for others. When I'm with my family or enjoying an activity, such as movies or playing basketball, I paid a lot of attention to what I'm doing that the outside world ceases to exist and I feel happy. My joy comes from the love of my family and friends. My health and theirs are important to me.


   My life has been full of amazing opportunities and I thank God for everything I’m able to do and been happy with just the fact of existing. I enjoy the things I do routinely like my college life. I am optimistic to what is coming, and for the future I feel that I can make those around me really happy. I enjoy life and that makes me happy. It isn’t that I have any reason for sadness, but there are a lot more for joy.

   

 

Introduction

  My name is Michael Rodriguez Aponte, I am 17 years old and this is my blog. In this blog I’m going to express my opinion of different themes given by the professor. I’m looking forward to write how I feel about the different themes. I would discuss and reflect on each theme.
